REGISTRATION AND ABSTRACT SUBMISSION:

us if you registered and have not yet received an e-mail.

Payment deadline: August 1, 2007

If accepted to attend the meeting, click here to pay

Please note that early registration is advised as this meeting is usually oversubscribed. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered. Applicants will be notified of their acceptance VIA E-MAIL in July. (If you do not hear from us by mid-July please e-mail Jay Bangs.)

Similar to last year, all registration, payment and abstract submissions must be conducted on-line. The registration process has been designed to help the meeting organizers keep track of registrations, abstracts, and payments, to facilitate production of the printed abstract book, and to allow users continued access to their registration information and abstract submissions up until the registration deadline.

Follow this link to register - (up to 270 words long). Note: It is recommended that you read this entire page before registering.

Each person attending the conference must register separately. Please do NOT give your password to anyone else, and do not use anyone else's password, as this could result in the accidental alteration or deletion of your abstract and registration information!

After this portion of the registration process is finished you are free to log back in as needed. You do not need to submit an abstract when you first register, as you will be able to log back in to the site to access all of your information and make changes as needed, including submitting and/or updating the abstract. However, all abstracts must be submitted (and any final changes made) before the June 29, 2007 abstract submission deadline.

REGISTRATION FEES:

Registration Options Students/ Post Docs PIs/Staff/Other

PAYMENT:

No payments are required (or accepted) prior to the July 7, 2007 registration and abstract submission deadline. Those accepted to attend the conference are required to pay all applicable fees (including registration, housing, and meals) no later than one week after acceptance or the registration will be dropped. Acceptance letters will include information on how to submit an on-line credit card payment via a secure site. An electronic receipt will be issued automatically at this time. If you do not have a credit card, you must coordinate registration with a colleague whom you can reimburse by cash or check (e.g., the head of your lab). In exceptional circumstances where credit card registration is impossible, please contact Judith Taylor at MBL.

CANCELLATION POLICY

After your payment has been received by the MPM, there will be a $50 cancellation fee for cancellations received before August 1, 2007 and $100 for those received thereafter. If you are registered for the meeting and know that you will not be able to attend, we would appreciate it if you could notify us as early as possible.

FURTHER INFORMATION

All accepted abstracts will be presented either orally or in poster format, with speakers to be chosen on the basis of submitted abstracts. It is expected that the individual submitting an abstract will personally present the poster or talk. For reasons of time and space, we can consider only one abstract per person.

In accordance with tradition, those individuals scheduled to speak on the first day will be informed in advance, but no other detailed scheduling information will be released prior to the meeting. A list of abstract titles and authors will be available at this web site approximately one week prior to the start of meeting (by submitting an abstract, you are agreeing to the publication of the abstract title and author list on the MPM web site).

If you require accommodations for either Saturday or Thursday night (in the MBL housing), these must be reserved and paid in advance by contacting Judith Taylor at MBL. Availability of these rooms may be limited and an additional fee of $42.50/day for early arrival and/or late departure will be charged prior to arrival. This fee does not include meals.
